Thank you for Luna Bars, the best khaki capris ever (even if they're 2 sizes bigger than I’d like), and for showing me what indomitable spirit really is! I've never known anyone with the self-knowledge and perseverance you've shown the last 3 years working to complete your PhD. The past year's been especially challenging and, yet, you made it! Thank you for sharing all these life lesson stories in life. You always work hard, balance your priorities well, and put everyone before yourself. You've taught me how to appreciate the fine things in life and i thank you for it because i see others who don't appreciate some of the things i do and i wish they could see things like me (sometimes).

For my mom, Sandy, who taught me to always strive to reach my best and to have fun while doing it! Who taught me to always see the best in people, and who showed me that I could do anything that I wanted no matter what anyone else said. Even though I lost you to cancer 5 years ago, your words still resonate in my mind and continue to inspire me everyday to work hard and be happy. Thank you.

You always put everyone before yourself and you invited them into our home with loving and open arms. You were the coolest mom growing up and the whole neighborhood loved you. Because of you, we had the house to hang at, the house to swim at , the house to ruin the front garden at, and best childhood memories ever!!!
