To Mami,
Always positive no matter what is going on in her sometimes hectic world, ever-caring and taking good care of my father, a cancer survivor. All natural foods fill her fridge & pantry (& even her dog's bowl), and as an adult, so do mine. I'm thankful for her healthy-lessons and examples that make me live a better life and be a better me.

To My sister, Stephanie,
You inspire me in many ways: to be a better mother, a better wife, even a better athlete. Seeing you take on a major physical challenge has pushed me to better my own health. I've seen all that you've endured in your life and respect the grace and poise with which you've handled things. I love you!

For living each day with quiet courage and strength. Thank you for showing me how to love even when it hurts. Few women have the joy of sharing their life with such a noble sister. I love you more than words can say.

To My mom Barbara,
My mom was a fighter, she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 and lung cancer in 2009. She sadly lost the battle January 11, 2010 but she never gave up hope and always had a positive outlook. She was loved by many people and I am so proud to say that she was my mother.

To my amazing mother Allena,
You have inspired me in more ways than you will ever know. You are my best friend. you have taught me to never give up and to always push myself with whatever challenges come my way. I have become stronger because of that. I love you.

To Gulmohar,
Thank you for being the model of unconditional love in my life. I truly know no other person who shows as much compassion for mankind and I am so very thankful that you found room in your heart for a shy, awkward blonde girl from down the hall almost two years ago.
